Randi Watson Smith

Randi Watson Smith is a painter and mixed media artist currently based in Bangor, Maine.

Originally from West Point, Mississippi, she has lived and worked in Mississippi, New York, and Rome, Italy.

Her work is composed of materials and objects that have often been thrown away or left sitting on a dusty shelf. With these materials, she creates dark, evocative figurative works telling deeply personal, often painful, stories of growing up as a woman in the rural South.
